I personally don't believe in goal setting... But it is one of the way that makes you productive.

✨ If you don't follow your goals.. its okey ! The actual goal of writting your own goal is to CLARIFY you what actually I have to do and what it takes , also what I get from it. ✨

Here's your end to end plan & goal setting you can use them

Set your goals...

Become productive...

Achieve more...

Etc.

You can also use it in study....

But study is just a part of life... And life designing or VISION is one of the important things that make you successfull in life.

( Post on VISION will come in future. I don't want to write it fast and make it worst) stay tuned 😊

SIX STEPS TO CREATE POWERFUL GOALS

-----------------------------------------------------×-----------------------------------------------------

1. WRITE DOWN WHAT YOU WANT SPECIFICALLY

The fi rst step is to write down your goal as specifi cally as possible. When you make your goal specific, your mind is better able to focus on achieving it. When your goal is too general or not clear, your mind will fi nd it diffi cult to get what you really want.

 For example, goals like

‘I want to improve my maths’,

‘I want to do well for my exams’,

‘I want to save more money’ or

‘I want to have a stable career’ are unclear goals.

Improving your mathematics could mean improving by 5 marks, by 10 marks or 30 marks. It is a huge difference. Doing well for your exams could simply mean passing with a ‘C’ or it could be getting straight ‘A’s.

A good career could mean being a trash collector or it could mean being a scientist. They are both stable jobs. Instead, your goals should be specifi c like ‘I want to increase my maths grade from 45% to 85%’, ‘I want to score 6‘A’s and a ‘B’ for my exams’, ‘I want to save $7 a week and $2000 by the time I reach 17’ or ‘I want to be a nuclear physicist specialising in researching alternative forms of energy’.

2. LIST ALL THE BENEFITS & REASONS FOR ACHIEVING THAT GOAL

The reason why a lot of people do not consistently work towards their goals is because they are not clear why they want that goal. We are rarely motivated to do something unless we know the reason or benefi t from it.

So after you have set a goal, write down at least fi ve reasons why you must achieve it. Write down how you will benefi t from achieving this goal. Unless you can come up with good and compelling reasons, setting goals will not motivate you.

3. WRITE DOWN A STRATEGY AND A PLAN OF ACTION

Write down the strategies you intend to use and a detailed plan of how you are going to carry out those strategies. A personal organiser with a calendar is ideal for planning.

EXAMPLE:

 a) My strategy is to make Mind Maps‚ for my History textbook and use memory techniques to remember the information.

 b) My plan of action is to make two Mind Maps®‚ a day for the next two weeks. I will then spend three hours a day memorising the information for another week.

4. SET A DEADLINE

Next, you must set a specifi c deadline for achieving your goals because without one, you will tend to procrastinate till the goal is forgotten. Setting a specific date means writing down the date, month and the year of accomplishment.

5. EMOTIONALLY CHARGE YOUR GOAL

At the end of the day, most of our actions are driven not by our logic but by our emotions. Intellectually, we may want to achieve a goal and know all the reasons why we should but what really drives us is our emotions. So, this step is one of the most important. You must close your eyes and imagine

yourself achieving the goal and enjoying all the benefi ts that come with it.

I want you to fantasize about achieving your dreams until it becomes very real in your mind. Doing so will give you the emotions to consistently act on your goal.

6. CREATE MOMENTUM BY TAKING ACTION NOW

Very often, people set goals and action plans only to put it off to the next day. Pretty soon, they will procrastinate and never get started on realising their goals. What you must do to avoid this is to immediately get momentum by taking some action the minute you fi nish writing the goal. You should do something straight away that will move you towards your goal, even if it is 1:00 a.m. in the morning! The minute you set a goal to increase your maths grades, you should pick up your maths books and start reading at least one page! The minute you set the goal of buying a new car, you should go to the showroom and get a brochure. There is great power in creating immediate momentum.

AN EXAMPLE OF EFFECTIVE GOAL SETTING

-----------------------------------------------------×-----------------------------------------------------

I am committed to score 86% in mathematics for the fi nal year examination.

BENIFITS AND REASONS :

✨ To qualify for the science course in junior college.

✨ To achieve my aim of studying medicine in Oxford and becoming a doctor.

✨ I want to prove to all my friends that I can score an ‘A’ in maths.

STRATEGY & PLAN OF ACTION :

My strategy is to work on examination papers from the past six years until I can score 90% on each one. I will practise this twice a week (Monday and Thursday). In addition, I will spend two hours a day revising each chapter in the textbook.

✨ The date of accomplishment will be 26 November 2020...
